Who We Are

CanEngage is a collaboration of researchers and health-care administrators that strives to facilitate public engagement in health policy decisions in Canada.  Our aim is to involve Canadians in policy development so that we can make the best possible decisions about the health care Canadians receive now and in the future.

Participants

Participants in our public engagement events are members of the general public.  A diversity of perspectives is welcome and respected.  Participants learn about important health policy topics and work together to advise policy makers on different considerations and possible courses of action.

HEALTH CARE ENGAGEMENT AND DIALOGUE

In Canada, health care is largely publicly funded by citizens through taxes.  Therefore it is important to engage Canadians in important health-care matters to create a health system that provides high quality, fair, and timely care to all.
